The Second Hunan Tourism Development Conference will be held in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province from September 15 to 17, news from the press conference held in Changsha on the morning of August 31.
There will be three main activities and four supporting activities.
The first main activity is to visit and observe cultural and tourism projects, which will be conducted on the evening of September 15 and during the day of September 16 in groups, along different routes and at different times. 30 key cultural and tourism projects that have been newly completed or upgraded in Chenzhou will showcase the high-quality cultural and tourism resources of Chenzhou and the good results of hosting the conference.
The other two main activities including the opening ceremony and the promotion meeting will be held in the Feitian Mountain real-scene performance center in Suxian District, Chenzhou City on the evening of September 16.
The opening ceremony will focus on sustainable use of water resources and green development.
The tourism industry promotion conference will be held in the Shimuquan International Conference Center in Suxian District on the morning of September 17.
Relevant enterprises and units will exchange views and make speeches on the high-quality development of Hunan’s tourism industry, aiming to gather wisdom and strength from all aspects to promote the high-quality development of Hunan’s tourism industry.
The four supporting activities are as follows:
The (International) Forum on Sustainable Use of Water Resources and Green Development will be held in the Wyndham Hotel in Chenzhou on the morning of September 14. Guests will discuss the sustainable use of water resources on the forum. The “Dongjiang Lake Declaration” on water resource utilization will also be released.
The Hunan Cultural Tourism Industry Expo and Investment Conference will open at the Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center on the morning of September 15, focusing on “New Cultural Tourism, New Technology, and New Consumption”.
The Second Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo will open in the Changjuan Intangible Cultural Heritage Block on the evening of September 15, with more than 140 representative ICH projects to be presented in a situational and immersive manner.
The 2023 China Food and Tourism Report Release Conference will be held in the Wyndham Hotel on the morning of September 16, with the theme of “New Momentum for Food and Tourism, New Life”. It aims to promote the exchange and development of Hunan cuisine culture and promote the integrated development of “food and tourism”.
